Exhaust Heat Exchange for Fume Incineration Systems
Selecting the appropriate "waste heat boiler system" for fume incineration involves considerable engineering time and money. Important areas of concern have been controlling and bypassing waste heat, optimum performance selection, operating pressures, size, weight and installation. Cain Industries' Fume Incineration Family is specifically designed to address these concerns and more, as standard design features not found with conventional waste heat boilers. The timely needs of the project engineer and customer can all be achieved accurately in a complete package.
BTU is transferred from the exhaust of incinerators, thermal oxidizers, catalytic converters, boilers and hot oil heaters to heat sinks such as water, ethylene glycol, therminol fluids, or steam production. Suitable fuel types for combustion sources include natural gas, propane, digester gas, diesel fuel, and light to heavy fuel oils.
- Tremendous fuel savings typically pay for equipment and installation within 1 to 3 years of average use.
- Pollution reduction due to lowered annual fuel usage.
